Weekend Goodies: Nails

Not much to post right now, because I'm about to get ready for my outing with friends today. It's raining a bit, which annoys me. The weather when I was working this week was sunny, mild and a bit windy. Why is it when I get a day off the rain starts? Especially when I'm driving into the city? Oy.

I love these nails. They're beautiful.

But I have no desire to glue them on; my job doesn't make having fake nails easy. So, it's double-sided nail tape to the rescue. :) 

These tweezers are made especially for nails, and they are a Godsend. The small pointed tips make grabbing things like tiny jewels much easier. They are also good for lifting up the nail tape...very handy for when you're trying to put fake nails on yourself. Haha.

After applying the tape and peeling it off to expose the other sticky side, I pressed the nails onto my natural nails for a few seconds. The grip is pretty strong. 

I really do enjoy having nails like this; i would love to someday have access to a salon that offers this kind of nail art to be applied to natural nails. Places around here do acrylics, but nothing this fancy. :( And I would love a career in a workplace that doesn't mind me having nails like this.
